J-WEL Experience
CEL’s formal partnership with the MIT Abdul Latif Jameel World Lab (J-WEL) opens up opportunities for Hong Kong educators to rethink the possibilities of teaching and learning.
Twice a year, we bring educators and principals from our Partner Schools to MIT for the J-WEL Week. Gathering member representatives from around the world, the J-WEL Week features thematic, faculty-led programs composed of interactive workshops and discussions, facility tours and demonstrations, and early research briefs on the latest in learning science, curriculum, and pedagogy of MIT.
J-WEL Exchange, on the other hand, allows for deeper-dive collaborations on specific topics. CEL works with the J-WEL team to customise hands-on intensive workshops exclusively for the educators from our Partner Schools as they spend a week in Boston.
